With nearly three decades in Wills, Probate, and Trusts under her belt, Kylie journeyed from working in Probate in Private Banking to various law firms and Trust Corporations before founding Toucan Law. Kylie Cox, a seasoned Trust and Estate Practitioner with an MBA. founded the firm to offer a more approachable and compassionate legal service.

At Toucan Law, we're all about helping people! Taking complex legal matters and translating them into clear, manageable plans for people. We're all about simplifying the legal complexities into something manageable and understandable.
However, Toucan Law thrives as a collaborative team effort. You'll also meet Andrew Cox, Kylie's husband and Ellie Allen, Kylie's right-hand woman in the office juggling everything from drafting documents to keeping our social media up-to-date.

From Personal Loss to Professional Purpose: Why Estate Planning Is More Than Just a Job
In 2007, I faced one of the toughest moments of my life when I lost my mum to cancer at just 48. Overnight, I found myself responsible not only for my own grief but also for my 11-year-old sister. Navigating the legal and emotional turmoil without a will was overwhelming, and it opened my eyes to how crucial estate planning really is. This experience has shaped the way I approach my work at Toucan Law, where I’m committed to helping others avoid the uncertainty and pain I went through.
